Rumor: Was Britney Spears Arrested Monday Night?

There’s a rumor going around that Britney Spears was arrested Monday night and charged with assault, assault with a deadly weapon, and some random drug misdemeanor.
According to reports, Brit got into an argument with her Mom and not quite ex-husband, Kevin Federline. The end result was Britney hitting her mom over the head with a beer bottle, and ending up in handcuffs.
When officials arrived at the scene, Brit was shouting several obscenities and waving around what appeared to be a broken beer bottle. Lynne Spears was rushed to the Hospital after Britney hit her with a beer bottle.
Sheriff Lee Baca said they also found traces of cocaine in Spears’ car. She was booked on several charges and is expected to be arraigned in Los Angeles County Court Tuesday morning.
