Shell Kepler, who played gossipy nurse Amy Vining on General Hospital has passed away. She was only 49.
TMZ is reporting Shell passed away in Portland, Oregon of renal failure. Though Amy Vining was a long -time staple of General Hospital, she had to ride the coattails of her on screen more popular half sister, Laura Spencer. After Shell was written off of General Hospital she sold her own line of dolls and donated her time to various charitable organizations.
R.I.P. Nurse Amy. I loved you even if TPTB could never find you a decent storyline.
