As a professional blogger, I visit tons of blogs about blogging. Topics usually include things such as SEO, link love and ways to increase readership, so you can imagine my surprise when Blogger’s Blog blogged about Paris Hilton.
While I joke around about how she changes people’s opinion of her by visiting Hawaii, getting hair extensions, and taking acting lessons, Blogger’s Blog recommends she continue blogging to communicate with her fans.
Paris Hilton was given a much longer jail sentence than most people serve for similar crimes. The Tribune writes that “the notorious party girl has since touted a new beginning, one that she says won’t include going out as much.” It sounds like she is trying to stick to that promise although it hasn’t been very long she left the county jail. Paris is wise to use her blog as a way to communicate with fans. If she blogs the right things she might also be able improve some people’s negative opinion of her. It couldn’t hurt.
They have a point, if Paris picks certain topics and discusses them in an intelligent manner, it may very well change others’ perception. I just don’t see it happening, she doesn’t have the attention span.
