Jaime Luis Gomez, better known as Taboo from Black Eyed Peas, was arrested Tuesday. According to sources, he was pulled over after crashing his car 20 miles east of Los Angeles due to driving under the influence.
Taboo was issued several citations, including possession of marijuana, possession of a prescription medication without a prescription and driving while under the influence.
Hours after being booked, the rapper was released on $5,000 bail.
The Black Eyed Peas are well known to fans for hit songs like “Let’s Get It Started” and “My Humps.”
A court date has not yet been set.
