Clearly Anna Nicole Smith’s Mom, Virgie Arthur is a model grandma. she’s mourning her grandson, Daniel Smith, by offering to sell the video of her bereavement. A source at ET supplied Page Six with emails from Virgie Arthur and Splash News offering exclusive rights to Virgie’s private memorial for Daniel soon after his death. Virgie is also offering to fly to the Bahamas to spontaneously grieve grave side for the cameras.
According to the Page Six insider [Arthur] started hustling right after her grandson died . . . She started hawking exclusive access to her own memorial in Mexia for Daniel . . . She’s hunting media deals within days of her grandson’s demise, while accusing [Anna Nicole’s lawyer-turned-lover Howard K.] Stern of mopping up the money.”
It should be mentioned Virgie’s attorney says he has no knowledge of any such deal. Grandma Virgie herself has no comment.
If this is true, it puts Virgie up in the same slimeball league as Howard K. Stern. It’s one thing (but still slimey) for someone who is not a family member to try and profit from someone’s death, but for a grandmother to pimp out footage of her supposed grieving? Shame on you, Virgie Arthur!
