Was Montel Williams Fired Because of This Interview (Video)

I just found this at Rhymes with Snitch and found it quite interesting. Was Montel Williams fired because he made public his feelings on the Iraq war?

Montel raises some good points. He wants to know why there’s so much coverage being placed on Heath Ledger’s death, yet we know nothing about our troops dying in Iraq. Soon after this appearance, CBS opted not to renew his contract and totally yanked his ass off the air. Coincidence? I think not.

Rock on, Montel. Don’t let anyone forget about our troops in Iraq and good for you for saying what needs to be said.
