Westboro Baptist Cult Church is planning to picket Heath Ledger’s funeral. I wasn’t going to post this yesterday because I didn’t want to give it more publicity, but hell, I’m a little angry and I have this outlet to say what’s on my mind here, and that I’m going to do.
What the ever lasting eff is this crap? Doesn’t the Bible teach us tolerance? Doesn’t it tell us something about casting the first stone and doing unto others? How can these people speak for God when they’re spewing so much hate. God would not approve at all, and I doubt Heath Ledger is the one going to hell here. That’s my bloody first point.
How would they like it if some pro-gay group showed up at their kids’ funerals and picketed them? Really, forget about Brokeback Mountain and Heath Ledger for a second, what about his family and friends? Is there no respect for them here? Heath Ledger’s family is in mourning and now they have to worry about some crackpot, anti-gay cult picketing their dead son’s funeral? I hope arrests are made. If someone did something like that to someone in my family there’d be serious ass kicking happening. How dare they? Shame on them all. Karma’s a bitch.

Oh, that’s not even the half of it. This cult usually pickets soldiers’ funerals and actually hold signs saying the soldiers will burn in hell or something like that. One region in the south I heard about has started positioning a motorcycle gang outside such funerals and the Westboro crowd has mysteriously disappeared. I actually had to interview these sickos once at a soldier’s funeral and I try to forget it.
oh my goodness……how sick. both this story and what the first commenter said…..these church goers……cult members…..should be ashamed of themselves.
They need to be arrested and charged with HATE CRIMES…. its a CELL NUMBER …….. This isn’t A CHURCH!!!!!!!!! BEWARE OF THESE HATEFUL, GODLESS PEOPLE…. UM, THEY WILL BURN IN HELL.
