If you’re looking for Whoopi to fight with her fellow panelists, you might be disappointed to learn she will not engage. She’ll state her piece and move on. Thank goodness because Rosie O’Donnell’s View feud is getting a little old and I’m sick of seeing her spout off about it everywhere because she can’t come up with original material. But I digress…
Whoopi:
“I disagree with a lot of stuff a lot of people say, but there is a dialogue to have with people that I was taught by my mom, how to be respectful and listen,” Goldberg said during an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show on Monday.
“You can get loud and move on after you are finished with it, that is how I work,” she added. “I have a different approach. I stir the pot just by my presence.”
Goldberg, 51, says though she has strong opinions, she will not be like previous View cohost Rosie O’Donnell, who was involved in numerous controversies on the show. When Seacrest asked if she planned to pick a few fights like O’Donnell did, she said: “No, I would have to be Rosie to do that. I am Whoopi, I have no reason to do that, that is not my style.”
