Zac Efron Will Star in “Seventeen”

Zac Efron will play the leading male role in the upcoming New Line release Seventeen.

Efron is hoping the momentum will continue after the success of his films High School Musical, Hairspray and High School Musical 2. The dramedy, about a man in his late 30’s wakes in the body of a teenager. The film could beging filming as early as Novmber.

Zac is also in negotiations to star in the remake of the 80’s hit Footloose.
